Scalloped Sausage and Potatoes
  • Ingredients
  • 1 pound maple bacon sausage
  • 4 cups thinly sliced potatoes
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1-1/2 cups milk
Directions
  1. In skillet crumble sausage and brown it lightly; drain thoroughly
  2. Place half of the sliced potatoes in a 2-quart casserole
  3. Combine flour and salt
  4. Sprinkle half the seasoned flour mixture over the potatoes
  5. Top with half the browned sausage and half of the cheese
  6. Repeat layers with remaining potatoes, flour mixture, sausage, and cheese
  7. Pour milk over all
  8. Cover and bake at 350F
  9. till potatoes are tender, 50 to 60 minutes
  10. Uncover and bake 10 minutes more.
