Sausage Hash
  • Ingredients
  • 1 pound old fashioned pork sausage
  • removed from the casing
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 4 cups peeled, cooked, and
  • chopped potatoes
  • 1/2 cup cooked chopped carrots
  • Hot fat for frying
Directions
  1. Saute the sausage until it is lightly browned
  2. Saute the onion in the sausage drippings until it is translucent, about ten minutes
  3. Add the potatoes and carrots to the sausage and mix well
  4. Form the mixture into patties and brown in hot fat.
