Sausage Wraparounds
  • Ingredients
  • 1 pound South African
  • sausage, browned (page 83)
  • Swiss or Cheddar cheese
  • Bacon
  • Toothpicks
Directions
  1. Cut the sausage lengthwise without cutting all the way through
  2. Cut the cheese into sticks and put one in each piece of sausage
  3. Wrap each sausage with a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick
  4. Broil until the cheese melts and the bacon is crisp
  5. Cut into one-inch chunks and serve warm.
