Piglets in a Blanket
  • Ingredients
  • 1 pound Mexican chorizo
  • sausage (page 37)
  • 1 recipe pizza dough
Directions
  1. Parboil the sausages in just enough water to cover the bottom of the skillet until they are cooked through, about twenty-five minutes over medium heat
  2. Drain off the liquid and brown the sausages lightly
  3. Divide the pizza dough into as many equal pieces as you have sausage links
  4. Roll out each piece into a square
  5. Place a sausage on one end of each square and roll up the dough
  6. Press to seal the edges
  7. Place the piglets on a greased cookie sheet and bake in a pre- heated 375F
  8. oven for about twenty minutes or until the dough is golden brown
  9. Serve warm.
