TANDOORI CHICKEN TIKAS
  • Ingredients
  • 2/3 cup plain low-fat yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons paprika
  • 2 tablespoons curry powder
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 3/4 teaspoon minced fresh ginger root
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 (4 ounce) skinless boneless chicken breast halves
Directions
  1. Combine the yogurt, paprika, curry powder, pepper, vinegar, ginger, salt and garlic in a medium bowl
  2. Trim chicken and cut into 1-inch cubes
  3. Add to the yogurt mixture, turning to coat well
  4. Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours. Remove chicken from marinade and thread on kebob skewers
  5. Rotate for 25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
