8 whole wheat hamburger buns, split in half and toasted
Directions
Trim fat and silverskin from pork tenderloin
Toss together the
paprika, chili powder, sugar, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a
small bowl
Reserve 1 teaspoon seasoning mixture
Rub all over
the pork tenderloins
Rotate the pork, one on each spit rod, 30
minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 155 to 160
degrees on the instant thermometer
Let stand 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, combine the tomato sauce, beer, brown sugar,
lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and reserved spice mixture in
small saucepan
Bring to a boil and simmer 20 minutes
Slice
pork very thin and add to sauce to heat through
Divide pork
and sauce evenly among the toasted buns
