TERIYAKI MARINATED FLANK STEAK
  • Ingredients
  • 1-1/2 pound lean flank steak
  • 1 cup unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 1/4 cup dry sherry
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon curry powder
Directions
  1. Trim fat from steak and place in a large shallow dish
  2. Combine pineapple juice, sherry, soy sauce, garlic, mustard, ginger and curry powder
  3. Divide mixture in half
  4. Cover and chill half and pour remaining half over steak
  5. Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours, turning occasionally. Remove steak from marinade and discard marinade
  6. Rotate steak in the Flat Standard Basket for 25 minutes or until cooked to desired doneness. Meanwhile, pour reserved marinade in a small saucepan and bring to a boil
  7. Keep warm
  8. Place cooked steak in a clean shallow dish and pour on the marinade
  9. Let stand 5 minutes
  10. Slice steak diagonally across grain into 1/4-inch thick slices and serve with juices.
