COLD SALSA VERDE
  • Ingredients
  • 1 /2 cup coarsely chopped Spanish onions
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro
  • 1 fresh or pickled jalapeno pepper, or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 can (10 ounces ) undrained tomatillos
Directions
  1. Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor
  2. Puree them, then adjust seasonings for desired hotness
  3. This traditional green sauce is excellent over chicken, seafood, or pork dishes and is also used a a table relish
  4. Makes 1 pint.
