PICO DE GALLO SAUCE
  • Ingredients
  • 3 fresh jalapenos, finely chopped (about 1/2 cup)
  • 1 large red, ripe unpeeled tomato, coarsely chopped
  • 1 medium white onion, coarsely chopped (about 1 /2 cup)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 112 teaspoon salt
  • 1 /2 teaspoon pequin or caribe (or to taste)
  • 3 tablespoons coarsely chopped fresh cilantro
Directions
  1. Combine all the ingredients and allow to marinate and develop natural juices for at least 1 hour before serving.
