Rawhide Dumplings
  • Ingredients
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • cold water
Directions
  1. Sift flour and salt, add water to make stiff dough
  2. Roll paper thin
  3. Cut into squares
  4. Drop into boiling stew and cook an additional 12 minutes
  5. These dumplings are also good in chicken broth or beans that are quite soupy
  6. The secret of making them is to roll them very thin.
