SESAME-FRIED DOVE
  • Ingredients
  • 12 doves
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon freshly cracked pepper
  • 4 tablespoons, sesame seeds
  • oil for deep-frying
Directions
  1. Choose only young doves with white skin for frying
  2. Mix egg and milk
  3. Place flour, salt, pepper, and sesame seeds in a brown paper bag
  4. Shake birds in flour, then in egg and milk, then in flour again
  5. Let the birds stand while the oil gets hot so that the batter will set
  6. Deep-fry in oil at 375F
  7. until golden brown
  8. Serves 4.
