STRAWBERRY SOUR CREAM DRESSING
  • Ingredients
  • 1 10-ounce package frozen sliced strawberries
  • OR 4 cups of sliced fresh strawberries
  • 1-1/2 cups sour cream
  • pinch of salt
  • confectioners' sugar(optional)
Directions
  1. If using frozen strawberries, thoroughly defrost in a large bowl with paper towel on bottom to absorb excess water
  2. Crush the strawberries slightly with the back of a large spoon
  3. Add the sour cream and salt, and stir until the ingredients are thoroughly blended
  4. Taste for sweet- ness and add confectioners' sugar if desired
  5. Cover with foil or plastic wrap and refrigerate the dressing for at least 1 hour before serving
  6. Strawberry Sour Cream Dressing is a good accompaniment to any fruit salad.
